This apps unlocks the interviews stored in the fingerprints of each participant that affixed their fingerprint to form an image of Harvey Milk. Harvey Milk prophetically said, "If a bullet enters my brain, let that bullet shatter every closet door in the country." Forty years after his assassination, this project and app honors his life and legacy. Every person will chronicle their coming out story. Many of the participants have led the fight in five major branches of the movement. These branches are legal/civil rights, health and HIV, mass media, hate crimes, and religious tolerance.
In this app, you can access everyones interview and their approximate location on the painting. You will be able to view their video in half a million video screens inside Harvey Milks head bridging his ideals and dreams onto contemporary people.
The contents of this app changes daily and is augmented as I get more celebrities, politicians, and hate crime victims onto the portrait. This will be the most prolific oral history of the LGBT movement forming a collective consciousness of the five major branches that advanced the fastest civil rights movement in history.
